Welcome to my campaign website.
I am deepening my commitment to public service in the City of Los Angeles and have decided to become a candidate for City Council District 3, representing the people of the West San Fernando Valley. I am a small business owner who will work for you, removing unnecessary burdens placed on businesses in Los Angeles. I will see to it that our city becomes a profitable and friendly place for innovative, hard-working people to succeed or fail on their own merits.
As a parent of two young children, as the husband of an accomplished LAUSD school teacher, as a home owner, as an Eagle Scout, as a lifelong resident of the Valley, and as a Neighborhood Council Board Member and Chairman, I know the value of service. My wife Sandra and I realize the importance of leading the effort to create a more responsive city that really works for its residents, and that public safety is our most important job. We need to shape a brighter future for our daughter and commit to a higher quality of life standard for all who call Los Angeles home.

Top Political Priorities
1. Streamlining the City’s departments and realigning the Budget for increased efficiency (including multi-year planning and performance-based budgeting). Making the budget a better reflection of the City’s core service responsibilities to its residents.
2. Prioritizing public safety, reducing crime and response times, better preparing for Sacramento’s troublesome Prison Realignment policy
3. Making L.A. less hostile to business, equipping entrepreneurs, increasing job training to grow our job base here
